The Seiko Prospex Turtle SRPE05K1, or also called the 'King Turtle', is one of Seiko's many iconic diving watches that have garnered enough enthusiasm to be warranted a nickname. The Turtle nickname is easily explained when you squint a little bit. You can see the resemblance but also that it is actually a very comfortable, logical shape for a watch. The SRPE05K1 has a substantial wrist presence with its 45mm diameter, while also having a very reasonable 47.7mm lug to lug distance.
